Hot sale MFE Inspections Mark II 2412 Tank Floor Scanner w12 Head, only $ 12.780.The MFE 2412 Mark II tank floor scanner uses Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) technology to accurately detect defects in the inspection surface. The Mark II tank floor scanner features improvements in all areas of operation and incorporates many user-friendly features from previous models. Our re-engineered design drastically reduces the amount of effort needed to operate the scanner, making this model more user-friendly. By providing the Mark II tank floor scanner with double the magnetic material, users can expect a significant increase in the power of the Magnetic Bridge, allowing users to inspect through thicker plates coatings. In darker settings, the LED strip provides convenient lighting in front of the storage tank scanner. With a comfortable display, easy access to control functions, improved results through better signal to noise ratio, and over 12 hours of battery life, the MFE 2412 Mark II tank floor scanner is the ideal solution for your MFL inspection needs.

Core Equipment Components
“The MFE 2412 Mark II is comprised of the following modules:- 1. Magnet Bridge. 2. Sensor. 3. Battery Module. 4. Handle Assembly. 5. Electronics Module. 6. Signal and power cables.”—Mfe

  • Magnetic Bridge: This model features double the magnetic material of older revisions. This provides a stronger magnetic bridge to achieve optimal flux saturation through thicker coatings and plates.
  • 12-Inch Sensor Bar: Features an integrated sensor array suspended and spring-mounted within the bridge. Hand wing nuts allow you to easily adjust the sensor height relative to the floor plate.
  • MFE Control Electronics: Houses the processing unit with user-friendly adjustments for operational variables including gain, threshold, and display brightness.
  • Maneuverability: Built with a re-engineered pivoting handle mechanism that minimizes physical pushing effort. It is supported by four low-rolling-resistance wheels alongside specialized side guide wheels to navigate close to the tank shell wall.
  • Illumination: Equipped with an integrated front-facing LED light strip to assist operators working in dark or poorly-lit storage tank environments.

Operational Considerations
Magnetic Flux Leakage is inherently a qualitative screening method. “Truly quantitative information can only be obtained using Ultrasonic assessment of the areas identified by the Magnetic Flux Leakage Scanner.”MfE For accurate remaining wall thickness validation, defect locations identified by the MFE 2412 scanner should be verified subsequently using ultrasonic thickness (UT) testing
